Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Barrister Saif asserted on Tuesday that the government had made bogus cases against the party leaders.
In a video statement, Saif said: “There is no legal status to the cases registered against the PTI leaders.” He fired a broadside at the federal government, saying, “The government is resorting to vendetta politics.”
“The incumbent government came into power by snatching the masses’ mandate,” Saif said.

Sunni Ittehdad Council (SIC) leader Junaid Akbar said on Friday that 65 per cent of the population is composed of youth, which stands with the PTI founder.
Expressing his thoughts in NA session, Akbar said: “I have never been to DI Khan. But still, the FIR was registered against me.”
He questioned: “Is this country a property of somebody? Whether there exists the supremacy of law here or not?”
“We will not take rest unless our leader and the rest of the leadership come out of jail,” he added.
Akbar said: “Most of the people sitting in parliament had been defeated in the recently held elections”.
“The future of the country is pretty much linked with the PTI founder. As we had sent the reference, the decision came against us, he added.
