Actor Dino Morea has recently addressed the long-standing perception of rivalry between himself and fellow actor John Abraham, particularly concerning their relationships with Bipasha Basu in the early 2000s.
Speaking on Siddharth Kanan's podcast, Morea clarified that the narrative suggesting John stole Bipasha from him is false.
According to Morea, the supposed rivalry stemmed from misconceptions rather than reality. He emphasized that he and John never had any animosity towards each other and maintained a friendly relationship.
Morea debunked the notion that John started dating Bipasha immediately after their breakup, asserting that he had already moved on to another relationship by then.
Regarding John's success in Bollywood, Morea expressed happiness and cited it as evidence that models can indeed excel in acting roles, contrary to stereotypes.
He mentioned John's recent acclaim for his performance in "Pathaan" alongside Shah Rukh Khan.
Speaking about his past relationship with Bipasha, Morea reminisced about their introduction through a mutual friend and their instant connection.
He acknowledged the challenges of their breakup, particularly during the filming of "Raaz" and "Gunaah," but affirmed that they eventually became good friends.
Currently, Bipasha is married to Karan Singh Grover, with whom she has a daughter named Devi.
