Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Nazriati (JUI-N), a political faction, has officially announced its alliance with Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in a joint press conference. This move comes after extensive negotiations between the two parties.
JUI-N leader, Maulana Gul Naseeb Khan, emphasized the importance of stability and trust in the political system. He stated their support for PTI as a means to achieve these goals. “We want to see Pakistan stable,” said Khan, “and we believe working with PTI will help build confidence in this system.”
Barrister Gohar, representing PTI, welcomed the alliance and expressed optimism about their collaboration. “Together, we will move forward to improve the country’s economy and living conditions,” he declared. “Communication and joint efforts will be key to our success.”
On the other hand, PTI leader Asad Qaisar referred to the recent statement by the Rawalpindi Commissioner, suggesting manipulation in the electoral process. He demanded an inquiry into these claims, further stating that they will “go to Karachi and Quetta,” presumably to protest and advocate for their stance.
He further asserted that their “mandate was taken away through planning,” referring to the outcome of the recent elections. He expressed his party's intention to unite with other political forces, claiming that “whoever becomes the prime minister besides us will be fake.”
