Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Emir Sirajul Haq said on Tuesday that all political parties should play their role for the supremacy of the constitution and the uplifting of democracy.
Expressing his thoughts, Haq bemoaned: “The election results were organised not on the vote counting, but on the mathematics’ formulas.”
"Why was the joke made with the nation if holding elections was all about selection? We will take all the possible steps to expose rigging in the elections.”
Haq asserted, “The next government that will be formed as a result of the rigging will not be able to address the masses’ problems.
– JI workers to elect next emir through secret ballot –
45,000 JI workers will elect the new emir of the party through a secret ballot.
According to details that emerged on Saturday, Sirajul Haq, Liaquat Baloch, and Hafiz Naeemur Rehman will lock horns against each other.
In this regard, the ballot papers had been issued to all the JI workers across the country for the elections of the next JI emir.
