Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif will host the luncheon for the newly-elected at Punjab House on February 28.
According to details, the three-time former premier will chair the PML-N’s parliamentary meeting. The newly-elected lawmakers had been instructed to attend the meeting. During the meeting, approval will be given for the decision to nominate Shehbaz Sharif as the country’s next prime minister.
Moreover, the meeting of the PML-N and allied parties will also be held on February 28.
During the meeting, the strategy will be shaped in line with the National Assembly session on February 29.
On the other hand, the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) had also summoned the parliamentary party meeting on the same day (February 28) at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) House.
Prominent among those who will attend the SIC’s parliamentary party meeting will be Asad Qaiser, Aamir Dogar, Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, Riaz Fatayana, and other lawmakers.
The parliamentary party meeting will decide whether to join the National Assembly or opt for the boycott.

On Tuesday, the PML-N and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) discussed the matter in line with the formation of government in Balochistan.
According to details, the PML-N and PPP held a joint meeting to discuss the formation of government in the province.
Prominent among those who attended the meeting were Sanaullah Zehri, Sarfaraz Bugti, Ishaq Dar, and Ayaz Sadiq.
