– SBP handed over to IMF, rues Fazlur Rehman –
On Tuesday, JUI-F supremo Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that even institutions like the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) were handed over the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Expressing his thoughts in Peshawar, Rehman said: “The establishment has kept all the matters under its control. The election campaign decides who is going to win or lose the elections.”
“The slogan of May 9 vandalism has been buried. There is no plus to holding the elections with intervention,” Rehman said.
“We are not going to take part in any sort of voting. Those who are remaining within the system will cause uproar, whereas those who do not exist in the current system will talk bravely,” he added.
