Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Abdul Ghafoor Haideri said on Friday that his party was sticking to its guns on not becoming part of the coalition government.
Speaking exclusively on Samaa TV, Haideri said: “Even Nawaz Sharif has not asked the JUI-F to change its narrative. Maulana Fazlur Rehman has addressed his concerns during his meeting with Nawaz Sharif.”
“The final decision whether to agree with the talks with the PML-N or not will be decided following the consultations,” Haideri said.
– Country faces hardships, admits Sanaullah –
Separately, PML-N senior leader Rana Sanaullah said that the country faces severe hardships.
Expressing his thoughts, the former interior minister said: “Maulana Fazlur Rehman is not angry at me. We want to retain the leadership of Maulana Fazlur Rehman. He [Fazlur Rehman] is our leader, as we had difficult times during the tenure of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).”
“The meeting was held with Fazlur Rehman in a good way,” he added.
