In an important development, key details regarding power-sharing arrangement between the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) and the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) in Punjab have surfaced, shedding light on the dynamics of provincial governance.
The PML-N has pledged to involve the PPP in both administrative and financial matters concerning the province. To address pertinent issues and ensure smooth cooperation, the PPP has established a specialized two-member committee comprising Nadeem Afzal Chan and Ali Qasim Gillani.

Nadeem Afzal Chan, a leader of the PPP, expressed confidence that the PML-N would allocate its fair share to the PPP in Punjab’s administrative and financial domains.
Crucially, the agreement entails the allocation of development funds to PPP MPs and ticket holders, ensuring equitable distribution of resources. Moreover, the PML-N has committed to considering PPP's opinions in matters concerning transfer postings and administrative changes across the province.
Nadeem Afzal Chan reiterated his unwavering commitment to the PPP members and workers in Punjab, vowing to protect their interests as directed by the party leadership.
