Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has announced his decision not to attend the oath-taking ceremony of Shehbaz Sharif as the prime minister of Pakistan.
Speaking to journalists at the provincial assembly, Gandapur expressed reservations regarding the legitimacy of the mandate of the prime minister. He highlighted the absence of any evidence proving that the PM was elected with the correct mandate, citing concerns over the electoral process.
Gandapur emphasized that the prime minister's mandate was not supported by Form 45, a crucial document in the electoral process. He asserted that it would be inappropriate to attend the swearing-in ceremony under such circumstances.
