In a joint operation of Rawalpindi Police and Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), the security forces saved Adiala jail from major tragedy as three terrorists arrested with heavy weapons and ammunition.
Rawalpindi Capital Police Officer (CPO) in a late night statement said three terrorists hailing from Afghanistan now shifted to a ‘safe place’ for interrogation.
What were these terrorists planning?
A map of Rawalpindi's Adiala Jail, hand grenades, and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) recovered from the arrested terrorists.
“Automatic weapons were also recovered from the terrorists,” the Rawalpindi CPO said.
“Police and other law enforcement agencies are conducting a search operation in and around Adiala,” CPO Syed Khalid Hamdani.
