Federal Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal said on Tuesday that positive criticism is to be welcomed.
Speaking to media in Islamabad, Iqbal said: “The opposition had practically accepted the poll results of the general elections, slated to happen on February 8.”
“The premier had emphasised the need for slashing the prices of power and gas,” he added. Iqbal resolves to cut government expenses by taking austerity measures.”
He maintained: “Even in the past, we had initiated the developmental projects, but due to political instability, the projects were not completed.”

Iqbal said: “We [government] will also take the opposition on board in connection with the development projects.”
– PM Shehbaz vows to make joint efforts –
Few days back, PM Shehbaz Sharif vowed to make joint efforts in a bid to foster the country’s economy.
The newly-elected premier hosted the luncheon for the coalition partners in Islamabad. On this occasion, the allied parties’ top brass, senators, and newly-elected lawmakers attended the diner.
Expressing his thoughts, PM Shehbaz emphasised the need for collaborative efforts, saying, “We will have to change the destiny of the country by joining hands together.”
