The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Monday resolved to sit in opposition in Punjab and the centre with verve.
According to details, the PTI held a core committee meeting in Islamabad. Expressing his thoughts, Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said: “We will stage parliamentary politics instead of boycotting or tendering resignations.”
The core committee had barred the party leaders from chanting slogans against the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC).
The PTI had decided to give tough power to the incumbent government in the National Assembly, Senate, and Punjab Assembly.
Barrister Gohar said: “We will stage constitutional and legal politics. We will play exactly the role of the opposition by working for the betterment of the masses.”
