In a recent development in the high-profile murder case of Amir Balaj, Lahore Police have refuted the stand of the named accused, Teefi Butt, shedding new light on the intricate web surrounding the incident.
According to authorities, the assailant who fatally shot Amir Balaj was not a seasoned Malaysian hitman, as initially speculated, but rather allegedly a longtime associate of the accused, identified as Muzaffar. Police assert that Muzaffar had served as Teefi Butt's gunman for an extensive period spanning over 22 years.
The CIA Police, in collaboration with investigative efforts, managed to identify the accused through photographic evidence. Pictures purportedly depict Muzaffar wielding the weapon used in the fatal shooting, positioned outside the residence of another named suspect, Gogi Butt.
Further delving into the timeline of events, police investigations unveiled that the shooter had purportedly assumed Malaysian citizenship merely three months prior to the attempted attack on Amir Balaj. However, stringent security measures thwarted his initial endeavor to assault the victim at his camp.
In a subsequent development, Ahsan Shah, an individual arrested in connection with the Amir Balaj murder case, was presented before a local court by CIA Police Lahore. The court granted a five-day physical remand of the accused, underscoring the gravity of the ongoing investigation.
