– Ahsan Iqbal on warpath against PTI –
Few days back, Iqbal fired a fresh broadside at the PTI.
Speaking to media, Iqbal said: “The PTI is harming the country worldwide. The United States and International Monetary Fund (IMF) cannot provide the NRO to the PTI founder.”
He said: “We [PML-N] had never caused the uproar of bogus cases at the international forums. We faced bogus cases, and our leaders faced jail.”
Iqbal asked the PTI founder to prove his innocence in court. “The PTI is damaging the country’s reputation.”
“We had never penned a letter to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) or European Union (EU), despite the PML-N’s reservations about the 2018 general elections,” Iqbal said.
Recalling the events that transpired on May 9, she lamented, “The military installations were attacked on May 9.”
