The Meteorological Department has indicated the possibility of rain in different parts of the country today and snowfall in the mountains.
According to the department, rain is expected today in upper Punjab, Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. Zhob, Musakhel, Chaman, Ziarat and Quetta may experience light rain with wind. Weather will remain partly cloudy in the upper parts of the country.
The department further says that today the lowest temperature was recorded in Leh as -4, Kalam zero, Islamabad 14, Lahore 18, Karachi 20, Peshawar at 14 and Quetta as 10 degrees Celsius.
On the other hand, Karachi's weather is expected to stay hot and dry today; sea breezes have returned to the area, and the minimum temperature was 20 degrees Celsius today.
The humidity in the air remained 65%, while winds were blowing from the northwest at a speed of six kilometres per hour.
The Meteorological Department says that the maximum temperature is likely to go up to 34 to 36 degrees Celsius, but there is no possibility of a heat wave.
