PPP's top leadership stopped the provincial organization from trying to woo Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to make an apolitical alliance in the upcoming Senate election in Punjab.
PPP Punjab chapter proposed an electoral alliance with PTI on the seats of women and technocrats in Punjab.
The proposal came out after receiving a conditional offer from the PTI to the special committee of the PPP. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) contacted the PPP to vote for Yasmin Rashid.
