The Daska municipality has taken action against the menace of stray cattle damaging the green belt in the city and arrested them in a unique display of proactive governance.
Reports indicate that the cattle responsible for damaging the green belt have been apprehended and taken into custody by the municipal authorities. Furthermore, an application has been filed at the City police station, urging action against four owners of these stray cattle.
The problem of stray cattle roaming the streets not only poses a risk to public safety but also causes significant damage to valuable infrastructure such as highways and green belts. The cattle blocked highways, littered and damaged green belt, as per the municipal administration.
By taking proactive measures to address this issue, the Daska municipality is demonstrating its dedication to ensuring the well-being and beautification of the city.
Just a few days ago, MNA Syeda Nosheen, along with the assistant commissioner and deputy superintendent of police (DSP), participated in a tree planting drive along College Road.
This collaborative effort to plant valuable saplings in the green belt reflects a broader commitment to environmental conservation and beautification initiatives in Daska.
