The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Justice Babar Sattar suspended FIA summons’ notice to Imran Khan’s wife Bushra bibi and sought its reply.
The FIA summoned Bushra Bibi today (Friday) for voice matching in the audio leak.
The plea said the main case is already pending before this court and the court directed the FIA to act in accordance with the law on Sept 18 as the main case is now scheduled for hearing on October 30.
Bushra bibi in her petition said that despite the case being pending, FIA issued a summons notice on September 19 and the court should suspend the FIA's notice.
“If the FIA continues the proceedings, it will affect the rights of the petitioner,” advocate Sardar Latif Khosa appeared in the court on behalf of Bushra Bibi.
