Pakistan Railways has unveiled its plans to facilitate passengers during the upcoming Eidul Fitr holidays by introducing four special trains.
As per the official notification, these special Eid trains are scheduled to operate on various routes across the country.
The first special Eid train is set to embark on its journey from Karachi to Peshawar on April 7. This train will pass through key cities, including Multan, Faisalabad, and Wazirabad.
On the same day, April 7, the second special Eid train will commence its journey from Quetta to Rawalpindi. This train will pass through Multan and Sahiwal, catering to passengers travelling between these destinations.

The third special train is scheduled to run from Karachi to Lahore on April 8, while the fourth train is scheduled to operate from Lahore to Karachi on April 19, ensuring smooth travel arrangements for passengers returning from Lahore to Karachi.
Pakistan is expected to experience a longer Eid holiday this year. As per meteorological forecasts, Eidul Fitr is expected to fall on Wednesday, April 10. This year, in line with the calendar's predictions, Ramazan is set to comprise 29 days, culminating in the celebration of Eidul Fitr on April 10.
