Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Rana Mashhood was appointed on Friday as the Prime Minister's Youth Programme (PMYP) chairman.
Expressing his thoughts, PM Shehbaz Sharif directed the stakeholders to extend full cooperation to the newly appointed chairman, Mashhood.
Earlier, Mashhood had assumed the office of Punjab Assembly deputy speaker and had remained provincial minister.

Separately, the PML-N on Wednesday granted party ticket to former MNA Ali Pervaiz Malik to contest a by-election from NA-119.
According to details, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had issued the party ticket to Malik.
Earlier, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz emerged victorious from NA-119 in the recently held general elections.
It was in 2018 that Malik was elected MNA from the same constituency.
