Sindh Provincial Minister Saeed Ghani said on Tuesday that independent candidate Faisal Vawda was in contact with the Pakistan Peoples Party in line with the Senate elections until this morning.
Expressing his thoughts, Ghani said: "The PPP has voted for all the candidates to whom the party had promised. As far as the matter of Faisal Vawda is concerned, the party voted for him on his request."
In connection with petroleum prices, Ghani said: "The price of petroleum products depends on the global mark."
Ghani vowed to make all-out efforts to steer the country's economy back on the right track.

Earlier today, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Amir Muqam said on Tuesday that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) postponed the Senate elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in line with the constitution.
Expressing his thoughts, Muqam asserted: "The constitution is being violated in KP. The province has been deprived of the Senate elections."
"I have no idea what type of law is being prevailed in KP," Muqam maintained.
