The Balochistan Education Endowment Fund, initiated by the government in 2013, continues to be a beacon of hope for students in the region, enhancing educational opportunities and fostering a brighter future.
Since its inception, the fund has provided both partial and full scholarships to over 73,000 deserving students, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder their pursuit of education. Annually, more than 15,000 scholarships are disbursed to deserving male and female students, enabling them to access quality education.
In a gesture of support for families affected by tragedy, the fund extends educational benefits to the children of lawyers who lost their lives in the August 8, 2016, incident. Not only are these children provided with free education, but opportunities for higher education abroad, including pursuing LLM, Bar at Law, or PhD programs in the United Kingdom, are also facilitated.
The Balochistan Education Endowment Fund operates on principles of transparency and meritocracy, ensuring that educational opportunities are accessible to all based on their potential rather than financial means. By illuminating the path of knowledge across the province, the fund is instrumental in shaping a brighter future for Balochistan.
