A young girl in Turkey narrowly averted a train accident on September 23 by quickly lifting a fallen railway barrier off the tracks just moments before an oncoming train reached it.
The incident occurred at a level crossing in the province of Aydın's Nazilli district, according to TRT World. According to witnesses, a vehicle collided with the closing barrier and caused it to fall onto the tracks.
As a train approached the level crossing, the young girl - who was nearby with a group of friends - saw the fallen barrier and realized the danger.
She immediately ran towards the crossing and managed to lift the barrier off the tracks just in time.
