The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2024 players' draft is happening on September 24th and there are a handful of Pakistani players.
The draft for BPL 2024 is when the teams pick the players they want for the upcoming edition of the league set to commence in January next year.
There are 448 foreign players who want to play in the league including some big names like Colin de Grandhomme and Mohammad Hafeez.
These players are put into five different groups based on how good they are.
The best players are in group A, and there are 18 of them. Then, there are 16 players in group B, 60 players in group C, 97 players in group D, and a whopping 257 players in group E.
Each group has a minimum price that teams have to pay to get a player from it.
Group A players are the most expensive, with a minimum price of USD 80,000.
Group B players cost at least USD 60,000, group C is USD 40,000, group D is USD 30,000, and group E is USD 20,000.
