Government and military efforts to boost the country's economy and alleviate the power crisis are yielding promising results, as revealed by recent actions.
In a decisive move against electricity theft, authorities have collected a substantial sum of Rs86 billion nationwide, with over 65000 perpetrators apprehended.
During April, authorities recovered a total of Rs0.202 billion from electricity thieves in key cities including Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Multan, and Islamabad. Additionally, Rs0.128 billion were retrieved from regions spanning Peshawar, Hyderabad, Sukkur, and Quetta.
Moreover, the crackdown led to the arrest of 53 individuals involved in electricity theft across the country during April.
The concerned authorities are resolute in their commitment to sustain these operations until the complete eradication of electricity theft nationwide.
