A person named Khan Shafi shot and killed his business partner Kamal Siddiqui a car showroom owner and then attempted suicide in Defense Phase 2 Extension of Karachi.
The murderer is now being treated in hospital.
According to the police, there was a dispute between the two over a sum of more than Rs10 million. The CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced.
Khan Shafi slapped his partner Kamal Siddiqui while sitting on the sofa. In the meantime, employees of the car showroom came to rescue their boss but the attacker opened fire shot, and killed his business partner on the spot.
On Thursday evening, 50-year-old Khan Shafi and 65-year-old Kamal Siddiqui exchanged hot words over an alleged transaction dispute in the car showroom. Khan Shafi killed his partner by shooting three bullets.
Shafi also attempted suicide and shot himself twice.
Neighbors said that Kamal Siddiqui was a good and virtuous person
The body of Kamal Siddiqui, a resident of Nazimabad, was shifted to the hospital, while Khan Shafi is undergoing treatment at Jinnah Hospital in critical condition.
Police said the murder weapon was taken into custody and further investigations were underway.

In a separate incident that occurred in Sargodha, a person first shot dead his love upon getting refused his marriage proposal. Moments later, he shot himself and passed away on the spot, in front of the dead body of the girl, whom he wanted to marry.
The victim girl like any other girl in the country, had the right to accept or refuse the marriage proposal but people with ulterior motives and fanatics with mental challenges have been snatching this right from the girl by killing them.
