South Asian Association For Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Secretary General Golam Sarwar will arrive in Islamabad to meet Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to review proposal of SAARC foreign minister meeting.
SAMAA TV quoting sources reported Secretary General SAARC Ghulam Sarwar will reach Islamabad next week on his first visit from May 20 to May24 and will hold important meetings in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA).
Sources said that there will be a detailed consultation on the restoration of the SAARC countries.
Nepal has already proposed a meeting of foreign secretaries of SAARC countries.

Golam Sarwar is a Bangladesh diplomat and secretary general of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation. He is the former High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Malaysia. He is the former ambassador of Bangladesh to Oman.
