The National Assembly session, presided over by Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, concluded amidst heated exchanges and significant parliamentary decisions.
Despite his apology, Speaker Ayaz Sadiq suspended PML-Q MNA Tariq Bashir Cheema for the entire session of the day due to a bitter exchange between Cheema and Zartaj Gul the previous day. The decision to suspend Cheema was made to maintain decorum and uphold parliamentary standards.
The question raised by the speaker in this regard was accepted by the House.
Meanwhile, in a ruling by the speaker, TikTokers, YouTubers, and media personnel were banned from recording videos in the corridors of parliament. This decision aimed to ensure the sanctity of parliamentary proceedings and prevent disruptions caused by unauthorized video recordings.
The National Assembly approved a motion for the formation of standing committees, empowering the speaker to form and include members in these committees. The motion, presented by Syed Naveed Qamar of the PPP, was accepted by the House, facilitating the establishment of essential parliamentary committees.

The session was adjourned indefinitely, marking the conclusion of the fifth session of the National Assembly.
On Thurday, PTI-backed Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) claimed that PML-Q MNA Cheema abusive language with SIC lawmaker Zartaj Gul.
Apart from opposition members, Cheema's behaviour was also termed inappropriate by the government benches. Women members of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) expressed solidarity with Zartaj Gul. Tariq Bashir Cheema went to Zartaj Gul and said obnoxious words to PTI-backed SIC MNA Zartaj Gul.
