The Punjab government on Wednesday introduced a new transfer policy for the teachers of Punjab.
According to the Department of School Education Punjab, all types of promotion will be completed in 30 days and all district committees will be bound to ensure a decision on applications within 30 days.
Per the policy, Hardship Grounds exchanges can be held throughout the year.
Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat approved the new transfer policy.
In case of disabled, widowed, divorced and long-distance, the transfer of teachers will be open throughout the year.
Under the policy, inter-district and Wedlock transfers will also remain open throughout the year.
While general transfer and mutual transfer will be allowed twice a year.
