All private schools, universities and nurseries in Dubai will be closed from Saturday, June 15 to Tuesday, June 18 for Eid-ul-Azha.
The UAE Knowledge and Human Development Authority announced it will reopen on Wednesday, June 19.
Holidays for offices
Dubai government announced the Eid Al Adha holiday for government employees, starting from Saturday, June 15, until Tuesday, June 18, with official work resuming on Wednesday, June 19.
The Federal Authority of Human Resources also announced Eid holidays for government.
Paid Eid-ul-Azha holidays
Paid holidays will be given to employees in the UAE's public sector from Saturday, June 15, until Tuesday, June 18, in observance of Arafah Day and Eid Al Adha.
Private sector holiday
Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (Mohre) said the Eid-ul-Azha holiday for the private sector will be from Saturday, June 15, to Tuesday, June 18.
Sharjah announces holidays
Sharjah has announced the Eid Al Adha holiday dates for public sector employees. The break will start from June 15 until June 18.
This would mean a 5-day break for Sharjah government employees, combined with the Friday weekend.
UAE holidays for shift workers
According to the holiday circular, exceptions apply to authorities, departments, and institutions whose employees work in shifts or are involved in public service or the management of public facilities. These organisations will set working hours for these employees based on operational needs to maintain the smooth operation of their facilities during the holiday period.
