The Punjab government has notified summer camps in private and government schools from June 20.
“Summer camp timings will be 7 am to 10 am and 4 pm to 7 pm,” notification.
All students will be exempted from compulsorily attending the summer camp, the notification reads, adding that, admission to summer camp requires parental permission.
“The facility of generator, cold water, and fans shall be mandatory in the school. Students will not be restricted from wearing uniform,’ the notification said.
“Artificial intelligence, IT, robotics should be taught in summer camps,” the school education department said.
The summer camp will be held for 30 days from June 20.
