Factors such as rising raw material costs, supply chain disruptions, and increased production expenses have contributed to higher vehicle prices. The Suzuki Alto, Cultus, Wagon R, Swift, and Jimny have all seen price hikes, with some models increasing by hundreds of thousands of rupees.
Despite these rising costs, car buying data indicates a resilient market demand, albeit with a shift towards more economical and fuel-efficient vehicles. Consumers are increasingly seeking value for money, balancing personal transportation's necessity against economic constraints.
