Premium number plates were auctioned by the Excise and Taxation Department of Sindh province.
In the event, the A1 number was auctioned for 10 crore rupees, which was bought by a businessman named Muzamal Kareem with the highest bid.
According to the details, during the auction ceremony, the premium number plate 7 was auctioned for forty-six million rupees, which was bought by Muzmal Kareem by making the highest bid, Mukesh Chawla gave the certificate of ownership of the number plate to Muzmal Kareem.
Premium number plate 786 was bought by businessman Sorosh for 26.5 million rupees, Sindh Energy Minister Nasir Shah gave an ownership certificate of the number plate.
The excise department auctioned the premium number plate (A1) for 10 crore rupees, Muzmal Kareem placed the highest bid for the number plate at 100 million rupees, and Senior Minister Sindh Sharjeel Memon gave ownership certificate to Muzmal Kareem.
Speaking on this occasion, Sharjeel Memon said that people invest in gold and other things, and premium number plates are also a type of investment, the winner of the auction can resell the plate, and the money collected from the auction will be given to the houses of the flood victims.
"We shouldn't make people homeless," he added in a conversation with the Chief Minister. In line with Bilawal Bhutto Zardari's vision, he said that women would be granted the right to own houses as well. They are not squandering this money; rather, they are assisting the underprivileged.
