Punjab launched an anti-polio campaign in five districts including Lahore to administer polio drops to 4.5 million children.
The campaign kicked off started after the presence of the polio virus in Punjab.
Anti Polio Program Head Khizr Afzal said polio campaign kicked off in districts include Lahore, Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, Lodhran and Muzaffargarh.
During the campaign, 4.5 million children will be administered drops.
“32,000 polio workers are taking part in the campaign,” the head of the anti-polio program. Head of Anti Polio Program Punjab said the campaign will be 7 days in Lahore and Rawalpindi. Anti Polio Program Punjab head said in the remaining districts, the campaign will be five days.
