Funeral prayer of Captain Muhammad Osama Bin Arshad Shaheed who embraced martyrdom while defending the motherland in North Waziristan District, was offered at Chaklala Garrison.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the somber ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, COAS General Syed Asim Munir, along with a host of serving and retired military personnel, soldiers, and the Shaheed's relatives.
Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister emphasized the nation’s unwavering commitment to eradicate terrorism.
He vowed to defeat foreign-backed terrorists and their supporters through a comprehensive strategy encompassing all sectors, ensuring a peaceful and prosperous Pakistan.
“The nation stands resolute against these foreign-abetted terrorists and their facilitators and these adversaries of Pakistan will be comprehensively defeated through a multi-domain strategy based on whole-of-the-system approach,” the prime minister added.
Captain Osama Bin Arshad Shaheed will be laid to rest in his hometown with full military honors, a tribute befitting his dedication and sacrifice for the country.
