Federal Minister for Board of Investment, Communications, and Privatization Abdul Aleem Khan has announced to bear all expenses for the repatriation of Pakistani prisoners being repatriated from Sri Lanka.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has expressed his gratitude to Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan for taking a personal interest in the release of prisoners, saying that his good work is a breath of fresh air for Pakistani prisoners and their families.
Pakistanis imprisoned in Sri Lanka for many years will be able to return to their homeland after paying the expenses, the Ministry of Interior was in contact with the Sri Lankan authorities for the release of Pakistani prisoners.
The release of Pakistani prisoners was delayed due to difficulties in expenses and financial payments, now Pakistani prisoners will be able to return home soon after completing the necessary procedures.
