Negotiations between the district administration of Gwadar and the Baloch Yakjehti Committee have concluded successfully, resulting in a seven-point agreement.
Following the resolution, the ongoing sit-in in various parts of Balochistan, including Gwadar, has ended.
The agreement was formalized with signatures from protest leader Dr. Mahrang Baloch and the Gwadar deputy commissioner. According to the accord, all national highways across the province will be opened from today, and the mobile network will soon be restored. Additionally, individuals arrested during the protests in Karachi and Balochistan will be released after the strike by the Baloch Yakjehti Committee ends.
The DC announced that within a few hours, obstacles will be removed from the highways to restore traffic flow. The talks were attended by Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langove, Provincial Minister Mir Zahoor Buledi, MPA Maulana Hidayatur Rahman, Makran Division Commissioner Daud Khilji, Deputy Commissioner Hamoodur Rahman, and other officials, including DIGs.
Mediators in the discussions included Hussain Wadela, chairman of the Haq Do Tehreek; Majid Sorabi of BNP-Mengal, Maulana Abdul Hameed of JUI, and other leaders.
Home Minister Langove emphasized the importance of dialogue, stating that the solution to every problem is possible through discussion. "The government, the administration, and the institutions displayed restraint," he added.
He also urged the public to protest peacefully, without causing damage to property, attacking forces, or harming common people under the guise of protest.
