In the latest trading session, the Saudi Riyal and UAE Dirham saw a decline in their value in the open market.
The Saudi Riyal is now being sold at PKR 74.20, having dropped by 7 paisa. Meanwhile, the Emirati Dirham fell by 4 paisa and is trading at PKR 75.82.
The Japanese Yen also saw a slight decrease, falling by 1 paisa to close at PKR 1.86. The British Pound experienced a more significant drop, decreasing by PKR 2.36 and closing at PKR 354.12, compared to the previous day’s closing of PKR 356.58.
In practical terms, 500 Saudi Riyals are now equivalent to approximately PKR 37,100 in the open market.
This fluctuation in the value of the Saudi Riyal is particularly noteworthy as over 2.7 million Pakistanis are employed in Saudi Arabia, making the exchange rate a focal point for many consumers.
