The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Wednesday released updated list of 166 registered political parties as ECP recognised the elections of PML-N and Jamaat-e-Islami and updated the names of party presidents or chairmen of several political parties.
The ECP did not update the name of party chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
The Election Commission has updated the name of Mian Nawaz Sharif as the President of the Muslim League- and the name of Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Naeem-ur-Rehman Khan as party chief has also been updated.
Mehmood Khan has been named as Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Parliamentarian while President Asif Ali Zardari is present as the President of the Pakistan People's Party Parliamentarian.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari's name is included as Chairman of the of the Pakistan People's Party while Asfandiar Wali Khan's name still exists as the president of the Awami National Party.
