Defence Minister Khawaja Asif on Monday condemned the rising terrorism in connection with the Balochistan attack.
Expressing his thoughts on Samaa TV, Asif addressed the alarming surge in terrorism across the country. He emphasised that the recent tragic incident resulted in numerous precious lives being lost. Asif assured that the government and state were committed to respond with the full force to combat this escalating threat.
The minister pointed out a disturbing trend in Balochistan where individuals from other provinces are being targeted. He said: "There have been incidents where people traveling by bus have been forcibly removed and shot, and workers in Balochistan have been attacked in their homes.".
Asif criticised the perpetrators of these heinous acts, saying, "Those responsible for the violence often come to the forefront with claims about missing persons.".
He said: "These so-called missing individuals are actually located in countries such as Iran, Muscat, or Afghanistan, rather than being within Pakistan.
