The International Cricket Council (ICC) unveiled on Monday the schedule for the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024.
The tournament will see 10 teams divided into two groups, with Group A featuring Pakistan, India, Australia, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka, while Group B comprises South Africa, England, the West Indies, Bangladesh, and Scotland.
According to the schedule, the Pakistan women’s team will kick off their campaign on October 3 against Sri Lanka in Sharjah. Their second match will be against traditional rivals India on October 6 in Dubai. Pakistan will face Australia in their third match on October 11, followed by their final group stage match against New Zealand on October 14.
The semi-finals of the tournament are scheduled to take place on October 17 and 18 in Dubai and Sharjah, respectively. The final match will be held on October 20 in Dubai.
Prior to the tournament, warm-up matches will be played from September 28 to October 1. Pakistan's national team will have two warm-up games, facing Scotland on September 28 and Bangladesh on September 30.
