Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has approved the appointment of 25 parliamentary secretaries across various departments in the province.
Key appointments include Osama Leghari as the Parliamentary Secretary for the Agriculture Department and Malik Iftikhar Ahmad for Awqaf and Religious Affairs. Shoaib Owaisi has been appointed to the Board of Revenue, Mansoor Azam to Energy, Shehryar Malik to Excise and Taxation, and Malik Wahid to the Food Department.
Other notable appointments include Muhammad Anas Mahmood as Parliamentary Secretary for Youth Affairs and Sports, Salmi Sadia Taimur for Women Development, and Sultan Haider Ali for the Chief Minister's Inspection Team.
Additionally, Ajmal Khan has been named the Parliamentary Secretary for Higher Education, Sonia Ashiq for Human Rights and Religious Affairs, and Shazia Rizwan for Information and Culture. Khalidran Jhala has been appointed to Parliamentary Affairs.
Further appointments include Khuram Work to Local Government Community Development, Muhammad Zubair to Mines and Minerals, Rana Tariq to Planning and Development, and Ziaullah to Punjab Emergency Services. Nausheen Adnan has been appointed to School Education, Mian Shahid Hussain to S&GAD, and Arshad Javed Waraich to Social Welfare Baitul Mal.
Rashida Lodhi will serve as the Parliamentary Secretary for Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education, while Taimur Ali Lali has been assigned to the Transport Department.
