Founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan commenting on party loyalty clarified that there is no place in the party for those who abandoned it during difficult times.
Imran Khans said that only a few left under duress during particularly challenging periods.
“I know who left the party in the difficult time,” he added.
He made these statements in an informal conversation with journalists at Adiala Jail.
Imran Khan expressed deep concern over ongoing infighting within the party and the postponement of meetings, which has frustrated many workers.
He highlighted the growing threat of provincialism in the country, pointing to recent protests in Punjab over terrorism in Balochistan as a worrying sign.
The PTI founder emphasized that PTI remains the only party capable of uniting the people of Pakistan, stressing that only political parties can bring the nation together. He urged that the current situation in Balochistan requires a concerted effort to include and support the Baloch people.
He also addressed the dire economic situation, noting that this year saw the lowest investment in the country’s history. With national income dwindling and debt increasing, he warned that the country is heading towards destruction.
Former prime minister attributed the political instability to fraudulent elections and claimed that secret agencies have been tasked with dismantling PTI.
