Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has pledged comprehensive measures to address those who take up arms against the state.
Expressing his thoughts, Naqvi stated that the recent terrorist activities in Balochistan were part of a well-coordinated plan aimed at disrupting the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) conference.
Naqvi said: "No current operations are underway in Balochistan".
He reassured that the government is committed to engaging with those who recognise the authority of the state and is open to addressing any disagreements.
Few days back on Monday, Naqvi vowed to deliver a strong retaliation against the perpetrators in connection with the recent terrorist attack in Balochistan,
Expressing his thoughts, Naqvi said: "The masterminds behind the attack are well known, and the terrorists who carried out the assault have been identified." He assured that the attackers will be met with a severe response and emphasised that the Balochistan government is in constant communication with his office.
Naqvi lavished his praise on the bravery of the security forces, highlighting their vigorous response to the terrorists' assault.
The attack resulted in the martyrdom of 14 security personnel, including police, levies, and other forces. Additionally, 21 terrorists were neutralized in the ensuing confrontation.
