Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Deputy Station Manager stationed in the U.K. Iqbal Javed Bajwa has resigned after it was revealed that his FA certificate from the Lahore Board was fake.
A PIA spokesperson confirmed the resignation stating that Bajwa was asked to step down following the verification of his fraudulent academic credentials.
Sources disclosed that Bajwa —who was introduced by PIA's Finance Manager in Birmingham on July 30 — initially resisted resigning despite the discovery of his fake degree.
However, he eventually resigned under pressure from his family.
The PIA spokesperson reiterated that the airline maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding falsified credentials and that appropriate action was taken in Bajwa’s case.
