The Islamabad district administration has granted conditional permission to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to hold a rally on September 8, with the strict condition that no sit-in will be allowed.
In the official notification, the administration outlined an approved route plan and issued 41 conditions for the event.
Separate routes have been designated for attendees arriving from different regions. Workers coming from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab via the Motorway will have a specific route, while a different path has been laid out for those using GT Road from Punjab.
Additionally, distinct routes have been established for participants traveling from Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Murree.
The rally is scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM and will conclude at 7:00 PM. The administration stated that the basic rights of citizens must be respected throughout the event, and under no circumstances will sit-ins be permitted.
The permission is strictly limited to September 8, and organizers are required to ensure that all participants return home the same night.
The notification also states that the organisers are responsible for the internal security of the rally. Any speeches or slogans inciting anti-state sentiments or religious hatred will be strictly prohibited.
