PML-N MPA Chaudhry Kashif Naveed Pansota narrowly escaped a gunfire attack during his visit to the Marot area in Fort Abbas on Sunday.
The MPA, who was on a routine visit to various villages in the region, faced a sudden ambush when his convoy was halted, aggressive slogans of "lota lota" hurled at him and abusive language used for him.
As tensions escalated, the MPA’s gunmen responded to the aggression by firing back in retaliation. No casualties were reported.
MPA Pansota later disclosed that this was not the first time he had been threatened. "I have received threats before, and now the area of 317 HR has effectively become a no-go zone for me," the MPA stated, expressing concern over his safety in the region.
