After a significant decline, the gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a huge rise on Friday, following international trends.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs1,800, bringing the new rate to Rs276,200.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold jumped up by Rs1,543, closing at Rs236,797.

Internationally, gold prices also rose, with the yellow metal trading at $2,660 per ounce, up by $18 during the day. The silver prices in the local market remained steady at Rs3,050 per tola.
Last week, gold prices in Pakistan hit a record high of Rs277,000 per tola amid heightened demand and fluctuations in international markets.
