Privatisation Minister Abdul Aleem Khan said on Tuesday that the incumbent government was looking to ensure economic stability in the country.
According to details, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) former governor Dr Reza Baqir called on the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) president. On this occasion, Aleem Khan said: “The government is ensuring to provide the facilities for the investment.”
“The joint projects are about to start with China, Russia, and the Middle East,” said Aleem Khan.
He said: “The economic indicators are getting improved as the stock exchange reached record levels.”
“Good governance cannot only be ensured with better financial discipline,” Aleem Khan said.
The detailed consultations were also made on the different aspects of the Pakistan Sovereign Wealth Fund (PSWF). “The Board of Investment (BoI) and Ministry of Privatization will extend cooperation for the fund.”
The projects like the coastal highway, beach resort, and green city are on the cards.
Meanwhile, Baqir said: “This fund (PSWF) will help to strengthen the country’s economy.”

Earlier on Monday, Aleem Khan urged Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to use the diplomatic relations pertaining to the Palestine issue.
Expressing his thoughts on the occasion of the All-Parties Conference (APC), the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) president said: “The Islamic world needs to embrace unity on the Gaza situation.”
He assailed the global world for lack of action against the Israeli atrocity, saying, “Those who talk about the rights of the animals are silent on the killing of humanity.”
