Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said on Wednesday that there will be action against those supporting the banned organization Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM), and their identification cards will be blocked.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Naqvi emphasised the need for accountability, saying, “You cannot insult state institutions and expect no response. We are willing to discuss rights, but not while brandishing weapons."
"We will not allow a parallel judicial system to exist,” he said.
Naqvi stated: "Anyone found involved with the PTM would face repercussions, including the cancellation of offices, passports, and travel restrictions".
– ‘PTI has wanted to sabotage SCO summit,’ says Mohsin Naqvi –
Few days back, Naqvi said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had wanted to sabotage the forthcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) in the country.
Addressing the presser following the appearance of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur in the assembly, Naqvi said: “We’ve got the video of Ali Amin Gandapur. It was confirmed after checking the video that Ali Amin Gandapur has departed.”
“The PTI was of the view to sacrifice the lives of people. The PTI has failed to fulfill their objectives,” he said.
“It is up to the president and prime minister to take the decisions regarding the current situation,” Naqvi maintained.
Lashing out at the PTI leadership, Naqvi said: “They [PTI leaders] themselves relax at their houses, leaving the workers to get arrested.”
